Engineering Challenges

At Joshi Consultancy Services, we don’t hire for stacks, we hire for the ability to decompose complexity. We are looking for engineers who care more about the why of a system than the what. If you view software as an engineering discipline rather than a commodity, you have come to the right place.

Our Engineering Standard

  • Deep Reasoning You can articulate the trade-offs of your technical decisions. We value those who prioritize architectural integrity over framework convenience.
  • First-Principles Thinking We don't chase hype cycles. We prefer solving the root cause of a technical bottleneck over applying temporary patches.
  • Documentation-First You understand that code is for computers, but documentation is for engineers. Clarity in design is non-negotiable.
  • Ownership Every application we deliver is the result of thousands of micro-decisions. We look for individuals who see a project through from architectural design to deployment.
  • Autonomous Execution Our best clients trust us because we deliver solutions, not requests for guidance. We look for that same maturity in our team.

The Application Process

We do not have a standard "HR" interview loop. We do not hire generalists or developers looking for their next comfortable role. We hire engineers who can solve systemic problems independently.

To apply, submit your portfolio, your GitHub, and a summary of the most complex architectural problem you have solved in the last 12 months. Explain the problem, why your solution was the right choice, and the trade-offs you had to make to get there. Submissions without this detailed technical context will not be reviewed.

Are You Worthy of the Challenge?

We are looking for the top 1% of talent. If you prefer the comfort of bloated, standard frameworks or need constant supervision, our environment will not be a fit. But if you thrive on precision, deep logic, and durable architecture, and can demonstrate your capability to solve hard problems without hand-holding, we want to hear from you.
